Dyson Supersonic Review

The Dyson Supersonic had to be thee most hyped hair tool launch ever. The brand claims it's created the fastest, quietest, most hair-friendly hair dryer in existence. That being said it is also thee most expensive at home hair tool ever! Coming in at a whopping R5999.00

The Dyson hair dryer is six times smaller and three times lighter than your average hair dryer which means no matter how long you spend perfecting the perfect blow-out, your arms will never grow tired. Which is a huge plus sign for me. If you have super thick hair you can totally relate.

How it works?

" The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer uses intelligent heat control to maintain optimum temperature, helping to prevent extreme heat damage. Less damaged hair reflects light in a single direction, making the hair appear shiny."

On the design side they totally threw out the regular circular fan design which you find on other hair dryers and replaced that with a cylinder on the dryer which makes use of the brand’s ‘Air Multiplier technology’ which takes air from all sides, multiplies it’s power, and pushes it out onto your hair through the ring. Quite impressive right?

My Review:

So I haven't styled my hair with a blow dryer in what seems like forever. My super thick locks take hours to dry and by the time I'm half way through it, i've already broken out in a sweat from what seems like an arm workout from just holding the dryer.

In the past, I’ve blow dried my hair to the point of it being such a matted mess that I had entirely given up on my blowdryer. Yeah, I used to prefer air drying my hair overnight and using a flat iron in the morning.

With all that being said I got to try the Dyson Supersonic in action whilst visiting my sister in Canada. Firstly it's like no hairdryer you’ve seen before its super sleek and so aesthetically pleasing.

And wow this baby is super light and undoubtedly quiet too compared to my regular hair dryer. It took me no time to dry my hair,I’m talking, drying time cut down to less than half of what it normally takes and I wasn't left in a sweat after. Literally was left shook on how amazingly good this dryer is, my hair was super sleek and shiny, results I usually only get after using a flat iron which is quiet impressive if you ask me. It could quite possibly save you a fortune in styling products and you might even be able to ditch your flat iron for good.

My Verdict:

If you’ve got the cash, it’s well worth the splurge. You'll undoubtedly have a good-hair day, every day plus you can catch some extra zzz in the morning which is a definite bonus for me.

Until next time...

Lot's of Love
